Feria del Café (Coffee Festival)+* In Cuetzalan,
Puebla, located on the western slopes of the Sierra Madre
Oriental, some of the best coffee beans in Mexico are grown.
Aficionados from all over México and other parts of
the world come to this celebration to enjoy the coffee, local
fruit liquors and regional food found in abundance. Also important
to the fair, and on display, are the embroidered huipiles
and other artesania of the region. |

--San Pedro Actópan, located in the State of México,
is the setting for this well known fair where one can taste,
buy and learn about every type of this characteristically
Mexican dish mole. At the fair one can find every variety
of mole made under the Mexican sky --sweet, hot, almendrado,
apiñonado, pipian etc. |

Feria del Pan (Bread Fair)+* Celebrated in Cholula,
Puebla, Bakers from Cholula and neighboring villages build
a very large brick oven in the main plaza and give demonstrations
of traditional Mexican bread making. There are over 150 different
types of breads on display available for tasting and taking
home. Also on display are the traditional Day of the Dead
bread and Rosca de Reyes. |

Festival Internacional Cervantino (International Cervantino
Festival)+* This festival has been held without interruption
in the city of Guanajuato since 1972 and it is held in honor
of the illustrious author Miguel de Cervantes. The FIC has
evolved to include over 30 countries and 2,700 artists who
make Guanajuato their stage to bring the most outstanding
works in music, opera, theatre, dance, cinema and literature. |
